About
About Me Hi, My name is Zandayra Henderson, a photographer based in Houston, TX. I am the proud owner of Ishanika_Photos_ . My passion for capturing love stories began with my own photography, and since then, I've dedicated myself to creating beautiful, timeless memories for couples. I've been shooting professionally for 4 years, specializing in intimate photo shoots and outdoor elements. I believe in capturing the raw emotions and natural beauty of each photo shoot, and I strive to create images that are both beautiful and personal. When I'm not behind the camera, I enjoy spending time with loved ones and learning new things every day. But gardening, and spending time with my family. Cancellation Policy
1. Retainer/Deposit: A non-refundable fee paid upfront to reserve the photographer's time and date.
2.Cancellation Fees: A percentage of the total fee charged if the client cancels the shoot, potentially increasing closer to the shoot date.
3.Timeframes for Cancellation: A specific time period (e.g., 15 days, 7 days, 48 hours) before the shoot during which cancellation fees may apply.
4.Rescheduling Options:
The possibility of rescheduling the shoot instead of cancelling and potentially receiving a refund.
5.Exceptions and Force Majeure:
Situations beyond the client's control (e.g., medical emergency, natural disaster) where the policy may be adjusted or waived.
6. Non-refundable products/services: Once a client selects and pays for digital files, prints, or other products, these are typically non-refundable.
7. Client Cancellation:
Define the time frame for cancellation, the type of fee (e.g., retainer forfeiture, percentage of the total fee), and whether refunds are possible.
8. Photographer Cancellation:
Outline the reasons for cancellation (e.g., illness, emergency), the process for finding a replacement, and potential refunds.
9. Rescheduling:
Clarify if rescheduling is allowed, and under what conditions, including whether a new retainer is required.
10. Equipment Liability:
Specify the photographer's liability for equipment damage or loss, and any limitations.
11. Force Majeure:
Include a clause that addresses circumstances beyond the parties' control (e.g., natural disasters) that may prevent the photoshoot.
12. Example Clauses:
"Client Cancellation: If the client cancels the photoshoot more than [number] days before the scheduled date, the retainer will be forfeited. If the client cancels within [number] days, the full fee may be due."
13. "Photographer Cancellation: If the photographer must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, reasonable efforts will be made to find a replacement photographer. If no suitable replacement is available, all payments will be refunded."
14. "Rescheduling: Rescheduling is allowed with [number] days notice, subject to photographer availability. A new retainer may be required."
15. "Equipment Liability: The photographer is not liable for any damage or loss to the client's equipment, unless proven negligent."
16. Additional Considerations:
Communication: Clearly communicate the cancellation policy to the client before they sign the contract.
17. Legal Clarity: Ensure the contract is legally sound and enforceable.
18. Flexibility: Consider offering some flexibility in case of unforeseen circumstances.
